Today is Sean and my Dads birthday. Last year it was very hard for me to get into the mood but this year it was alot easier. I feel bad for Sean that he has to share this day with my Dad, but he completely gets it. And is so understanding that Im going to have my moments.
I made Sean his favorite brownies and spaghetti for dinner before I had to leave for school. I wish so bad I couldve missed a night but I had an important quiz tonight and just couldn't.
We did open presents before I left and Im so happy to say that I picked out a pair of sunglasses that Sean likes! Its so hard shopping for things like that.
A recap on the boys today:
Chase did great getting on the bus today and I picked him up early for ABA (which he did get in)
Ashton had zero marks today, he has been doing extra well lately on this...we're so proud of him!
Stephen had a good day at school, he didn't have to much homework but tomorrow he has math tutor so he may have a little more than usual. I'm really hoping this tutor helps him bring his math grade up!
Bryce had a so/so day. Our poor little guy has another cold so I may take him to the Dr tomorrow to make sure its just a cold and no ear infections or anything. Im hoping its nothing to serious.
Tonight at school for me I did well on my test :) All that cramming paid off! We worked with microscopes and cells and different phases. It was interesting but I can see this class getting harder and harder each night. I'm ready for the challenge & it will all be worth it in the end.
I want to end this post with a note to my Dad for his Birthday:
Dear Daddy,
Its crazy to think you have been gone almost 2 years now. At moments it flys by, but days like today I couldnt keep you out of my mind. I wanted to call you so bad and just say Happy Birthday. I hope you are enjoying Heaven and being with your mom, uncle and auntie. I hope you were able to have a birthday party and get your favorite cake! I miss you Daddy! I miss your voice so much sometimes. I watch the videos I made of your last days when you were still able to talk often just so I can hear it. Please give me another sign your with me Dad, its been awhile since Ive felt your presence.
