Every Year I Dream of the HGTV home...

Its that time of year when HGTV gives away a dream home. Every year I daydream about winning and what rooms would be who's. Le' sigh....maybe some day ;) You can go enter HERE, once per day!

Making Moving Across the Country with Kids and Animals an Adventure!

As we get ready to do another cross country move with our children and animals I thought I would share with you some tips and resources that have helped in previous moves. Moving is hard work, but it doesn’t have to be an unpleasant experience! I have always looked at our moves as adventures and trying to find the good and fun out of it. This summer our family will doing our last official move with the military. It has been an amazing eighteen years but all good things must come to an end. We will be moving 2,625 miles east! And although that seems so far away from here in Oceanside CA, I am looking forward to the road trip with our kids and being able to make it to our forever home in Jacksonville, NC. Something about the middle of the week is magical. I love Wednesdays because I don't have school, Chase has a full day of school, so no driving to a million therapys and I get to play catch up around the house. I did my homework this morning, did some Scentsy work, cleaned casa, cuddled Bryce and now here I am...typing away on Blogger. This week so far has been interesting. Monday Chase was kindly asked to leave the dentist and I had a mild break down. The life of a special needs mom is a different one, its very hard and very stressful. Especially when its just Sean and I here. I'm not sure if God just picked me because I have the patience? the driving force? The need to never give up? or the strength of a pit bull. Either way, I had a "poor me" and F the rest of the world day. I love knowing that I have alot of support from my sisters and mom but they have their own things going on.
