Today I woke up and chugged a couple cups of coffee and started to purge a little more. Today’s victim: Ashton & Chases closet. We went through everything and made a keep, donate and garbage box. It has been determined we may have an in the closet hoarder out of Ashton, he wanted to keep everything. It will be interesting to see his college dorm room in 9 years.
After a quick morning clean up we headed out for new shoes for all the boys as well as other errands. Another thing I learned is don’t take an over stimulated autistic boy into a shoe store to try on shoes and expect a pleasant experience. After some wrestling moves and a couple punches swung (at me) we found him a pair as well as for Stephen and Ashton. I’ve opted out of buying Bryce a pair since hes been living in the once pieces with the footies but I did spot some adorable flip flops for him when the season comes.
Speaking of which, that was on my mind all day: THE BEACH! I miss it, I miss watching my little fishies play in the water & the warm sand beneath my feet. My last time in the water was when I went into labor with Bryce, it seems forever ago! Soon! Everyone says March./April it becomes swimming weather again, so we will have to start a count down soon.
On a side note, Hotel Honickel is now taking 2013 reservations ….it will be on a first come first serve basis. We are looking forward to seeing all of our friends who have already confirmed! It’s going to be a great year!!
