January 4th,,,

Another day late, are you noticing a trend? *wink*

The 4th was a typical Friday. Every Friday I clean the house from top to bottom so on the weekend we can focus 100% on Ohana time! Mission accomplished. Stephen and Ashton really helped and for a quick moment I think Ashton was even having a good time doing so.

The day started out with one of the funniest conversations I've had in awhile, it went as follows:

Ashton "Mom I woke up super early to make sure there wasn't a zombie Apocalypse and then went back to bed"

Mom "Well I'm glad that didn't happen, I would hate to wake up to zombies"

Ashton "The cool thing about it is we wouldn't have to pay our bills anymore"

Mom "True and we wouldn't have to grocery shop because we could just eat each other"

Ashton laughs

Ashton "Ya I would start out with Stephen because he didn't let me play his video games yesterday"

Mom "That's not nice to eat your brother, lets make some cereal and talk about something else"

I wish someday I could just float around in his brains and see what he thinks about all day haha!

Aside from cleaning, I got a lot of small things done. One major thing is I have all of the information and appointment to meet with legal to start the process of Sean adopting Stephen. We are so excited for this! Stephen came to Sean & I and said he would really like to be a Honickel and that he is truly his Dad. I know it will be a long process but I'm hoping this time next year there will be another Honickel in our home.
We ended our day with a much needed date night, our favorite/amazing sitter came over and watched the boys so Sean and I went to dinner (and drinks) and then to see "Killing them Softly". It was a total man-movie but it was good! Plus we went on base so you can beat $6 for two people at the movies!!
Hope you all had a great Friday and we shall see where Saturday takes us!!
